This is the HEW Rake with patent pending back slope setting angle. It is a digging pick and a rake combined into one tool.
It is 18” wide and made from 1/4” thick steel plate. The steel variety is unknown so it’s ‘mystery meat’.
Over time these will need to be sharpened and the edges will require maintenance.
The handle is made from hickory and will be ~51” long but can be left up to 60” long if preferred - please note at time of ordering your preference for length.
The handle is pinned with a piece of 1/4” stainless steel tubing that is flared at both ends.
These are left raw and not sand blasted/powder coatedx
They’ll weigh around 6.5 lbs
disclaimer - while the welds are plenty strong, they may not be pretty. They’ll get better over time. This is the first run of tools I’ve ever released into the wild. This is mostly so people can try this tool shape and get busy with it. The goal is to used the funds for some steel plate with known properties…
